Brochures That Pack A Punch
Quality, glossy brochures are a powerful marketing tool. Let us help you get it right. Here are some points and some helpful tips to consider...
- First things first: what's it for? How will it be used? Alone or with a letter? Will it be handed out at an exhibition? All these questions affect the design and messages.
- You might also want to ask who'll read it. Existing or new customers? The smart MD (called Martin) or Dez, the unshaven geek from the IT floor? Your brochure must be written and designed for your precise audience.
- Set a budget and ask us how best to use this money.
- Don't be tempted to save money by writing it yourself. Promotional writing is a specialised skill. Why waste money on something that looks perfect but reads like a Year 7 English essay?
- Think about photography. If you don't have any, we can organise it.
- Check out competitors' brochures.
- Include only minimal information. Technical detail is probably unnecessary. Stick with the main features and benefits. And use lots of lovely white space.
- Unless you're a time-served designer, you'll waste time and money by trying to do this yourself. So don't. Talk to us.
