I’ve designed countless brochures, booklets and catalogues over the last 30 years, from small A5 brochures through to large 200+ page product catalogues – and quite a lot in between!

I offer unlimited revisions and work to fast turnaround times, while keeping the whole project as straightforward as possible.

If other suppliers are involved, I can liaise directly with the copywriter, marketing team or printer too. So, if I need a spine width from the printer, an image from your photographer or clarification on a print specification, I can deal with them directly rather than sending you backwards and forwards as the middleman.

Once the design is approved, I’ll professionally prepare the artwork with the correct bleed, colour settings, image resolution and any other specifications required for the chosen print process.

Take your brochure online

Your finished brochure or catalogue can also be transformed into an interactive digital flipbook, so the same piece of literature can carry on working online.

As well as realistic page-turning effects, digital brochures can include clickable website and email links, embedded video, zoom and search functionality – particularly handy for larger product catalogues and company brochures where people may want to find something specific.

They work across desktop, tablet and mobile and can be shared through your website, email, social media or other online marketing.

Digital brochure hosting is available for a small annual fee, so I can take care of that side for you too.

I can help you choose the best specification for your brochure, booklet or catalogue, based on the look you want to achieve, how it will be used and your budget.

Paper Stocks: Choose from a wide range of paper types and weights, from smooth silk and gloss stocks to uncoated, textured and eco-friendly options. The stock can completely change how a finished brochure looks and feels, so it’s worth getting this bit right.
Binding Options: Depending on the size and number of pages, options include saddle stitching, perfect binding and PUR binding. I’ll advise on what’s appropriate for your particular brochure or catalogue rather than leaving you to work out the difference between them yourself.
Finishing Options:Add the finishing touches with matt or gloss lamination, Spot UV and other specialist finishes to give your brochure or catalogue an extra level of quality.

What is brochure and catalogue design?

It’s the process of taking your copy, imagery and information and turning it into a properly structured piece of literature that’s easy for somebody to navigate and read.

That might be a relatively simple company brochure or a large product catalogue containing hundreds of products. Whether printed or digital, I’ll create a layout that’s easy to navigate, visually engaging and consistent with your brand.
How much do brochure and catalogue designs cost?

Costs depend on the page count, design complexity and the amount of content involved.

A straightforward 12-page brochure is obviously a very different job from a 200-page catalogue containing hundreds of products, tables and images, so I’ll provide a clear quotation based on what your particular project involves before I begin.
What are the benefits of brochures and catalogues?

Brochures and catalogues give you space to explain your products or services, deliver key information and build trust – all while reinforcing your brand in Essex. They’re particularly handy for sales meetings, exhibitions and direct mail, or anywhere a website isn’t necessarily the most convenient way for somebody to browse through what you offer.
What should I include in a professionally designed brochure or catalogue?

That depends on its purpose, but typically you’ll need a strong cover, clear introduction, well-organised product or service information, good-quality imagery and your contact details. You might also include testimonials, case studies, pricing or QR codes where useful.

If you’re unsure how to organise everything, I can help you work out a page plan before the design gets underway. Getting the content into a sensible order at the beginning makes the whole project considerably easier!
How long does it take to design a brochure or catalogue?

It depends on the size and complexity of the project, but once I’ve received all the copy, imagery and information required, I can usually provide the first design proof within one week.

From there, I’ll work through any revisions with you as quickly as possible until everything is approved.
Can you help me write the copy?

Yes. If you’re struggling to get the wording together, I can provide AI-assisted draft copy using your supplied notes and existing material, or arrange professional copywriting support where a more specialist service is required.
Can my brochure be made into an interactive digital version?

Yes. I can turn your finished brochure or catalogue into an interactive digital flipbook with page-turning effects, embedded video and clickable links, ready to share online. Hosting is also available for a small annual fee.
Can you help with printing as well as brochure design?

Absolutely. This is an area where I can take quite a lot off your plate.

I can advise on the finished size, paper stock and weight, page count, binding method, lamination and other finishes, then prepare the artwork to the printer’s specification and manage the job through to delivery.
