Not at all. Where your package includes several initial concepts, you’re welcome to explore changes across more than one design before deciding which direction you’d like to develop further.

Absolutely. Once your logo is complete, Design FX Studio can also manage the printing of business cards, stationery, brochures, folders, exhibition materials and other branded items, advising on suitable stocks, finishes and production methods and sourcing the right printer for the job.

The Logo Design Process | Bespoke Logo Designs

Every business is different, so I’ll always start by getting to know yours.

At the start of the logo design process, I’ll spend some time going through your design brief to understand your business, the ideas you already have and the kind of brand identity you want to create. This gives me a clear starting point before I begin developing your initial concepts.

Step 1 – Select your logo design package

For my bespoke logo design packages, original concepts are created from scratch around your individual business and design brief. I also offer specialist packages for businesses that already have an existing logo, AI-generated concept or artwork that needs refining, repairing or modernising.

And if you want to extend your new visual identity into your business stationery, company flyers or website design, you can add these extra design services to your project at this stage.

Logo design packages are paid in full before I begin work. This keeps everything nice and straightforward and covers the concept and revision stages included within your chosen package. Once I’ve received your payment and completed design brief, I can get started on your initial concepts. Payment can be made by BACS, credit or debit card.

I totally appreciate that no two businesses are the same, so feel free to contact me directly if you would like to discuss an alternative logo design package.

Step 2 – Submit your logo design brief

Sometimes you’re so close to your own project that it can be difficult to clearly communicate exactly what you’re looking for. But don’t worry – I’ve put together a handy logo questionnaire for you that will help me understand your business.

I’d always recommend giving me as much information as you can at this stage of the logo design process – the more I understand, the more I have to work with! If you’ve spotted other logos, colours, typefaces or styles that you like, feel free to send these over too, as they’re really useful for helping me understand the direction you’re drawn to.

In addition to your input, I’ll also review:

Your current business logo, along with all of the print and web materials you use
The company logos of a number of your closest competitors
Examples of styles that I think will be a good fit for your brand

Step 3 – Developing your logo concept

This is where the excitement builds – you’ll start seeing the ideas take shape! Depending on your chosen logo design package, you can typically expect your initial design concepts within 2–3 working days. Once you’ve had a good look through them, send me your feedback on what you do and don’t like and I’ll make revisions where needed. Most packages include unlimited revisions; the Essential Logo Package includes three rounds, so don’t be afraid to tell me if something isn’t quite right!

To keep everything simple and easy to track, I prefer to share each round of design concepts and revisions by email.

Step 4 – Refining the logo design

At this stage of the logo design process, I’ll continue refining your preferred design within the revision allowance included in your package until everything feels absolutely right.

Step 5 – You’re ready for launch!

Once your final design has been approved, I’ll prepare your completed logo artwork in the appropriate formats for print and digital use. You’ll also receive a Logo Design Guide and helpful File Type Guide, so you’ll know exactly what you’ve received and which files to use where.

When you’re ready to launch your logo, you’ll get:

AI, EPS, PDF and SVG vector files for print and scalable use
JPEG and PNG files for everyday digital use, including a transparent PNG
A square social media profile image, plus icon version where appropriate
A Logo Design Guide detailing the fonts and colour specifications used
A File Type Guide explaining which file to use and when
