  • How long does it typically take to build a website?

    It’s difficult to say without knowing the specifics of your project – but if you can supply me with all the copy, images and information I need in good time, I can manage my developers’ workflows to ensure your build is handled as quickly and efficiently as possible. It takes a minimum of 4 weeks to complete the design and build of a basic brochure website, and longer for larger and more complex platforms with additional functionality.

  • What’s included in your website development services?

    Everything you need for a slick, modern, meticulously designed platform that will wow your customers! My builds typically include a fully customised design, fast loading and mobile responsive templates, and SSL security.

    I can include news sections, work portfolios, case study pages – whatever you need to showcase your business. And you can rest assured that everything that needs to be included will be outlined in the project scope and agreed upon before we start work. I’ll also set up and/or install Google Analytics, Google Console and a Google Business Profile for you, so you’re ready to hit the ground running.

  • Can you look after my domain registration and hosting requirements?

    Yes! Being able to manage everything under one roof for you will make life so much easier. I can help you find, set up and renew your domain, and source the best hosting and email hosting packages for your needs.

  • Will my website be fully optimised?

    Yes – this is something that’s important to me and my team. Your brand new website will be SEO-friendly and fully responsive, so you can be sure it will work flawlessly on any browser, on any device.

  • Can I update and manage the website myself after launch?

    You can do, but you might not want to! If you have chosen a CMS build, I will provide you with the log-in details to your website’s back end, so you can add and update your content as you please. I can also provide you with basic training if you’re unfamiliar with the system. If you are going for a more complex e-commerce platform or custom build, it might be wiser to outsource the ongoing updating and maintenance of your website to Design FX Studio. This way, you won’t need to get your head around a new software, and you won’t run the risk of making a mistake that could compromise the integrity of the development!

  • How much will it cost to develop my website?

    Development costs can range from hundreds of pounds into the thousands. It really depends on the size and complexity of the build. I’ll always outline all development fees at the beginning of your project so you know exactly what you’ll need to pay at each stage.

Had a great experience with DesignFX

After using AI to brainstorm a few ideas myself, I sent my thinking to Natalie. She took the time to fully understand the business, my market and customer base. She also listened to my early ideas on the type of illustrated logo I was looking for.

What Natalie created exemplified the kind of image I was going for. She had really taken onboard everything I'd said but also had the creative confidence to offer alternatives to some of my more undefined ideas to produce something better than I had hoped for.

If you're looking for a logo that covers the basics then AI can often give you what you need. But if your brand really matters to you, and you're looking for something that reflects you and the image you want to present, then it really pays off to go with a creative designer.
