Looking for website maintenance rather than content updates?

Every new website includes Essential DFX Website Care as standard, covering secure UK hosting, SSL renewals, weekly backups, uptime and security monitoring.

Ongoing WordPress maintenance is also required. If you remain on Essential Website Care, core and plugin updates are carried out every six months for an additional fee. Alternatively, my fully managed DFX Website Care plans include more regular maintenance and ongoing technical support.

What is DFX Website Support?

DFX Website Support is for those times when you need a helping hand updating, improving or developing your website. From simple content and image changes through to new pages, blog articles, products, case studies, landing pages and additional functionality, I can take care of the work for you while you concentrate on running your business.
What's the difference between DFX Website Care and DFX Website Support?

DFX Website Care looks after the hosting, security and ongoing technical health of your WordPress website. Essential DFX Website Care includes hosting, backups and monitoring, with the required six-monthly WordPress maintenance charged separately, while my fully managed plans provide more regular maintenance and technical support.

DFX Website Support is for changes to the website itself — such as adding or updating content, images, products, pages, blog articles, layouts and functionality.

In simple terms, Website Care looks after the technical side of your website; Website Support looks after the changes you want to make to it.
Do you provide support for all website platforms?

No. DFX Website Support is specifically for WordPress websites hosted and managed by Design FX Studio. I don’t currently provide ongoing support or development for websites built using Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or other website platforms.
Can I just pay for website updates as and when I need them?

Absolutely. If you only need occasional help, DFX Website Support is available on a flexible pay-as-you-go basis, so you can simply get in touch whenever something needs updating.
Do you offer monthly website support packages?

Yes. If your website requires regular updates, I can put together a tailored monthly support package based on the amount and type of help you typically need. This can be particularly useful for busy websites, eCommerce businesses or companies regularly adding new content.
Can you write and upload blog articles for me?

Yes. I can create AI-assisted blog articles from your supplied notes, ideas or information, then format and upload them to your website with suitable imagery and relevant internal links. Professional copywriting and more advanced SEO or keyword research can also be arranged where required.
Can you update my online shop?

Yes. I can help manage WooCommerce content including adding new products, updating prices, descriptions and images, creating new product categories and making other day-to-day shop updates.
Can you add new pages or functionality to my existing website?

Yes. I can add new pages, services, sections and landing pages, as well as arrange additional functionality where required. More substantial development work or specialist functionality can be quoted separately.
My website is starting to look dated — can you refresh it without rebuilding everything?

Often, yes. If the underlying website is still in good condition, I may be able to refresh individual pages, layouts, imagery and content without carrying out a complete rebuild. I’ll take a look at the existing website first and recommend the most sensible approach.
Can you help me decide what improvements my website needs?

Of course. You don’t need to know exactly what needs changing before getting in touch. I can review your existing website, discuss what you’re trying to achieve and recommend practical improvements, new features or content that could help it better support your business.

Had a great experience with DesignFX

After using AI to brainstorm a few ideas myself, I sent my thinking to Natalie. She took the time to fully understand the business, my market and customer base. She also listened to my early ideas on the type of illustrated logo I was looking for.

What Natalie created exemplified the kind of image I was going for. She had really taken onboard everything I'd said but also had the creative confidence to offer alternatives to some of my more undefined ideas to produce something better than I had hoped for.

If you're looking for a logo that covers the basics then AI can often give you what you need. But if your brand really matters to you, and you're looking for something that reflects you and the image you want to present, then it really pays off to go with a creative designer.
