DFX Essential Website Care covers the important work behind the scenes, including managed UK hosting, weekly backups, security monitoring and regular WordPress maintenance, all within one monthly fee.

For businesses requiring daily backups, additional protection and ongoing technical support, DFX Pro Website Care provides a more comprehensive service.

Critical security or vulnerability updates may be carried out sooner where necessary. Additional investigation, malware removal, repair or recovery work outside your Website Care package may incur additional charges.

  • What is DFX Website Care?

    DFX Website Care provides the hosting, backups, security monitoring and ongoing WordPress maintenance needed to help keep your website secure and running smoothly.

    Every new WordPress website I host requires a DFX Website Care package, covering the important technical maintenance behind the scenes within one monthly fee.

    For additional protection and ongoing technical support, DFX Pro Website Care includes daily backups, monthly malware scanning, recovery and restoration assistance, and up to 60 minutes of technical website support each month.

  • Which DFX Website Care Plan do I need?

    DFX Essential Website Care is designed for start-ups and smaller business websites that need reliable hosting, regular maintenance and ongoing protection.

    DFX Pro Website Care provides additional protection and technical support for businesses that need a little more assistance.

    Larger, eCommerce or more demanding WordPress websites may require additional maintenance time and resources, which I’ll assess and quote for individually.

    If you’re unsure, I’ll recommend the most appropriate package for your website.

  • What happens if my website grows or becomes more complex?

    If your website expands significantly, gains additional functionality or becomes more complex over time, I may recommend a different level of Website Care or additional maintenance resources.

    I’ll always discuss this with you first and explain any change in cost before it takes effect.

  • Does DFX Website Care guarantee my website won't be hacked?

    Unfortunately, no website can be guaranteed completely immune from security threats. Website Care is designed to reduce the risks through regular updates, monitoring and backups, while ensuring there is a recovery plan in place if something does go wrong.

  • What happens if my website is compromised?

    If your website is compromised or a security issue is detected, I’ll act quickly to assess the situation and take any immediate steps necessary to help protect the website and hosting environment.

    Depending on the issue, this may include temporarily taking the website offline, restoring a clean backup, updating WordPress or plugins, changing passwords or investigating the source of the problem.

    Where additional malware removal, repair, recovery or investigation is required outside the maintenance included with your plan, this work will be charged separately and discussed with you wherever possible before work begins.

  • What happens if my website goes down?

    Your website is monitored 24/7 for uptime. If unexpected downtime is detected for a prolonged period of time, I’ll investigate the cause and advise on the appropriate next steps.

    Any additional repair or restoration work will be handled in accordance with your Website Care package and Terms of Service.

  • Are plugin licences included?

    Updates to standard plugins are included. Where a premium plugin requires its own paid licence or subscription to receive updates, that licence is charged separately unless already included as part of your website.

  • Is my domain name included?

    Domain registration and renewals are charged separately unless otherwise agreed. I can register or transfer your domain name and manage its renewals on your behalf.

  • Can you make changes to my website for me?

    Yes. DFX Pro Website Care includes up to 60 minutes of technical website support each month for minor technical assistance relating to the ongoing maintenance and operation of your website.

    Content updates, new pages, blog articles, additional functionality and other website improvements are available separately through my DFX Website Support service.

  • Does unused technical support time roll over?

    No. The 60 minutes of technical support included with DFX Pro Website Care resets each month and cannot be carried over or accumulated.

  • Can I pay annually?

    Yes. Both DFX Website Care packages can be paid monthly by standing order or annually in advance.

  • Can I cancel at any time?

    Monthly Website Care operates on a 30-day rolling agreement. Annual plans are paid in advance for the agreed 12-month period.

Had a great experience with DesignFX After using AI to brainstorm a few ideas myself, I sent my thinking to Natalie. She took the time to fully understand the business, my market and customer base. She also listened to my early ideas on the type of illustrated logo I was looking for. What Natalie created exemplified the kind of image I was going for. She had really taken onboard everything I'd said but also had the creative confidence to offer alternatives to some of my more undefined ideas to produce something better than I had hoped for. If you're looking for a logo that covers the basics then AI can often give you what you need. But if your brand really matters to you, and you're looking for something that reflects you and the image you want to present, then it really pays off to go with a creative designer. As well as a great finished design, Natalie also made it a very rewarding process.
