The world of graphic design can be a little daunting for those who have never created a brand identity before (or those who haven’t touch their company visuals in many years). That’s why I always make sure I’m on hand to answer any questions my potential clients may have about the way I work – and why I’m very clear on what they can expect from my Essex graphic design services.

Here are 5 common questions that I often get asked as a professional designer.

1. Why should I use Design FX Studio for my graphic design needs, when I could go to a design contest site instead?

It’s as simple as this: you get what you pay for!

Websites that encourage people like me to compete for work aren’t designed to match businesses with a provider who will really ‘get’ their project; someone who will go above and beyond to create a beautiful brand. They do, however, drive price wars between graphic designers – and when the focus remains on the cost of the work, and not the quality of the output, the end result is normally nothing to shout about.

This is a very long-winded way of saying that you’re highly unlikely to receive the same personal level of service from someone who is willing to complete the work for a fraction of my costs. And you’ll find my fees to be very competitive, anyway.

2. What if I don’t like the logo or graphics you’ve produced?

It’s very unlikely that I’ll miss the mark with your designs, as I’ll have talked to you at great length about your requirements during the discovery phase, and you would have already provided me with examples of graphics you like. But if you really can’t stand what I’ve created, I’ll start again from scratch.

3. How many times will you revise the work?

I can tweak your logo and graphic design as much as you like before we sign them off. My job is to create stunning artwork that you can be proud of – so I won’t stop until you’re 100% happy with what I’ve created.

4. Will I own the graphics once they’ve been completed?

Absolutely! As soon as you’ve signed off the work and everything has been paid for in full, I will hand over the design copyright to you. This means you can use your graphics whenever you like, for whatever you like – the sky really is the limit.

5. What will you actually give me at the end of the project?

The artwork I produce will be supplied in a variety of formats that can be used across all your online and offline materials, including smaller jpeg files that are perfect for uploading to websites and social media platforms. You’ll get each design element in high res vector format, too. These types of files can be blown up or scaled down as much as you like, without compromising the quality of the graphics.
